Greetings to all you Andy fans. I am currently writing this blog from the good old Northern California city of Pacifica. Sorry, I don't know why I had to say it like that. I'm in Pacifica... There! Much better.
It's really lame sometimes that I don't get to spend Thanksgiving with my immediate family because I'm so far from home. If you don't know where I'm from, go check out my profile on the right hand side. Tessa has like 29032 more profile hits than me so help me out.
Back to my point, it doesn't help that airlines feel the need to quadruple ticket fares to ensure that the people you're visiting are totally worth all that money. My parents are totally worth the $800 round-trip price but let's be honest here... for 4 days? Especially when I'm gonna see them in less than a month anyway for Christmas? Yeah, that's what I thought.
One of the cool things though about being away for Thanksgiving is that you can always find a new place to eat turkey. I've been blessed with some good friends here at CBU so there was no shortage in options for homes that I could crash for Thanksgiving. The past two years, I spent with my best friend and his family in Laguna Niguel, Ca. This year, I had the sweet opportunity to come up to the northern side of California and get my turkey on. It's nice out here.
