Flashing Lights* (By: Andy Mok)

I'm sure none of you know this, but we, the blogging team, have grown into quite the celebrities. Of course, none of that would be possible without all our diligent and loving fans. Yes, all three of you. Just kidding. I have way more fans than that. C'mon... But seriously. It makes me so happy when random people come up to me and tell me that I should blog about this and that for next week. A month or so ago, a fellow Lancer told me that I should write about a blog regarding my volleyball team's loss... I don't know if he was trying to be funny or not but he was walking into the lion's den (psst, I'm the lion in the den. Don't laugh. I'm not kidding).

I'm still working on my photoshop skills. Calm down.

Karen Bergh, our boss, has more connections than AOL (bad joke on so many levels. Sorry, is AOL even around still?). For the past couple of months, I've experienced what it's like to be a Brad Pitt or a Britney Spears... aside from the yucky stuff... and the good looking part... dangit.

Let me explain. We got Enoch, one of the school photographers, to snap some professional photos of us for the blog-site... and... so that I can feel cool. You've probably seen some of them already but take a look for yourselves:

Good job E.

As you can see, I came out great. No biggie because that's not what this is about. What's it about you say? I'm not sure. Stop asking so many questions.

We also got to do these sweet video shoots for our individual profiles. Unfortunately, those aren't ready yet but will be very soon. Don't worry.

Last but not least, as part of Karen's master plan, we were interviewed for an article in the Press Enterprise! I know!!! They had Laurie Lucas, a reporter from the Press Enterprise, come out to CBU and ask us questions about who we are, what we like to do, and what it's like to blog for our school. A couple of us were nervous before the interview. Me? No way. I'm really happy with the way it went down though.

Laurie, if you're reading this, thank you so much for finding the time to take an interest in what we do here. I hope we were the best story of all time. If not, I hope we were at least second... or third... or, whatever. Nevermind. We enjoyed having you!

The article came out Friday morning November 21st, 2008. So Pick up a copy, we're front and center on the cover of section C. Or check it out online (link below)... Yes, all three of you. =)
