t w i r p (By: Tessa Johnstone)

Twirp week (the woman is required to pay) was some serious fun. There were six twirp events and I practically did them all. Let’s start with Monday shall we?

MONDAY: The Travis Ryan concert

Meet Jake.
The concert was free but Jake ended up costing me about 20 bucks. See, Jake and I are snackers... hard-core. So, we totally enhanced our concerting experience with some Nutella, bread, hot wing Doritos, cool ranch Doritos, chocolate, Arizona tea, fruit stripes gum, and of course the accompanying zebra tattoos.

TUESDAY: Mini Golf

This is Adam.
I grew up with Adam. He is a cool kid and one impressive golfer. I appreciated the fact that he let me cheat as much as my little heart desired. We laughed a lot, and threw dried corn at the ducks, and chased golf balls all over the place. He taught me a new word: Mulligan. A mulligan [muhl-i-guh n] is a shot not counted against the score, permitted in unofficial play to a player whose previous shot was poor.
We said it often
.

WEDNESDAY: Create a date

This is me. All by myself ... so lonely.
No, but seriously, Wednesday night was awesome. I lost my date at the last minute, so I hung out at my roommate Jessica’s pizza and a movie party for awhile (thanks for the pizza, jess!) Then went to an on campus bible study. From there I went to relevant, which is a worship and bible thing on the gazebo…. Greeeeeat stuff. And last but probably not least, I played capture the flag until midnight. I was dead in my classes the next day – but it was worth it.

THURSDAY: Carless Drive In Movie

This is Eric Mc Ilvoy.
Eric Mc Ilvoy and I love Sandlot. . . it is as simple as that. We were supposed to make smore’s during the movie – but I forgot the candle. So, we had our smores dry… definitely an acquired taste. . . but awesome none the less.

FRIDAY: Square Dancing

JORDAN!
OK. Can I just say this? I passionately love the barn dance. Jordan and I dressed up as Mr & Mrs. Clause and square danced the night away. I can’t quite remember the last time I enjoyed something so much.

SATURDAY: Six Flags

Luke.
And Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better…. Along comes Six flags. Luke was so much fun. We went with my brother and Hillary… who are also humoungously fun. We basically goofed off, rode amazing rides, had good talks in line, felt the pangs of hunger, and had our minds BLOWN away by X2 (seriously, best roller coaster of my life.)

That was my week - busy and magnificent.
And the good memories just keep piling on.
